sara le rouxby Sara le Roux,  Owner and Inspirer at The Creation Station Penistone and District

Once again it’s raining so I thought we would make some little boats and have ourselves a race!

What You’ll Need

  • Blue/White Tac
  • Plastic milk carton tops – 1 per boat
  • Tooth picks
  • Sticky Labels/Card & sellotape – for the sail
  • Scissors
  • Water – a bowl, a bath – whatever you like! (plus maybe a towel or sheet for underneath your water if using a bowl 🙂

We put a small ball of white tac inside the lid of our milk carton tops – the smaller the better so that they don’t over balance.

A tooth pick for a mast – make sure you snap the sharp ends off though!

We used some sticky labels that we had in a drawer for our sail.
