Day #66 Decorating With Dough – Part Two
by Sara le Roux, Owner and Inspirer at The Creation Station Penistone and District
With our salt dough baked we were ready to start painting and adding a bit of sparkle to our decorations…
What You’ll Need
- Paint – we used Brian Clegg ready mixed paint & also some silver and gold paint that we had in our stash
- Paintbrushes & pots
- PVA glue and spreader
I let Boo choose which paints he wanted to use today so I was pleasantly surprised when he chose festive red, green and purple and not a random mix of yellow, pink and brown! I also added in a bit of a Christmassy feel with the gold and silver paint….
Boo was very cheery today and even handed me a paint brush – “Help Mummy?”
We turned on some Christmas tunes to bop along to – Izzy loves dancing! – and got on with making our decorations lovely and bright..
Next stop sequins!
We drizzled PVA glue and sprinkled some sequins…..
They look good enough to eat!
Don’t forget to add the string!
